The Love Street Band is in Demand
May 14, 2009
Just a brief word to say that our band calendar has never been so full! You can always check the current schedule on the Band page.
We are excited that most of these gigs are for children’s charities. In August we will perform at the Children’s Assessment Center’s back to school party. In October we will perform for the Candlelighters at their annual family camp at Camp for All. In November will will take our turn in the TONIC series.
In addition to those, we will perform Rubber Soul at the RAINN Over Houston benefit event and will also do a free show in the Woodlands on Friday on May 29. The Woodlands show is from 6-8 pm in a family friendly outdoor setting adjacent to the annual wine festival. Come join the fun.
If you are a children’s charity looking for a band, we’d love to play for you. The band also does fee-based gigs to raise funds for the organization.

Patrick,
Are you doing the White album again? I missed it cause the tickets were too expensive for me and my friends.
Frederick -
There are no current plans to do the White Album again. We had hoped to do it again in a more affordable - or even free - setting. However, for now we have moved on to other projects. You never know what the future holds, though.
On a related front, look for another group to do Abbey Road at Discovery Green in the fall. We are doing Rubber Soul for the RAINN Over Houston benefit (June 19). We will also run through a lot of the Rubber Soul material at our free show in the Woodlands (May 29, 6-8pm).
Regards,
Patrick
