Shriners Hospital seeks musicians for Hospital Appreciation Week

April 14, 2010

Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston asked us to pass this along, which of course we are happy to do.  The week of May 10-14 is Hospital Appreciation Week.  Shriners will be having activities throughout the day, but with an emphasis on 11:30-1:30.  They are seeking volunteer musicians to perform as part of these activities.  If you are interested, or if you have any questions, please contact Vickie Cartee at vcartee(at)shrinenet.org or 713-793-3836.

I could help someone out - every one else in the band works or is unavailable during the week. As I am out of work at this time, unless some miracle happens & I get hired - I could assist someone else if they want it - I play drums and I’m not much of a solo act for very long!

Thanks, Lou. There setting won’t call for a “drummer,” but something like a djembe would work. If you’d be interested in joining up with one of the performers, shoot us an email at info-at-lovestreetlightcircus.org.
